Testudinidae Testudo graeca The state of the Testudo graeca population in the Wide Gorge was examined in 2001-2002. A trend in the dynamics of several quantitative indices has been revealed, which makes it necessary to conduct a comprehensive study of the population status with the aim to design effective measures for the preservation of the species.
