Abstract
Testudinidae Testudo hermanni Parc del Garraf (PG) is an area where the dynamics of wild boar with the environment has a high importance, although the population density of this ungulate in PG is one of the lowest in Catalonia. The most relevant aspects of the relationship between wild boar and the environment are: the correlation between the abandonment of cultivated areas and also the forestal activities with the increasing population of wild boar, and therefore, the involvement that has in current crop areas. This involvement can be reduced with effective corrective measures. Also the relationship with the palm (Chamaerops humilis), which is positive helping on recuperation, conservation and ecological dynamics of the specie, as well as with the environment on PG. The last one is the impact that wild boar has with the road network on PG, although there is not any TCCU inside this one, but there are just on the extern limits of it. Referring to hunting, nowadays is the only feasible measure for the population control of the wild boar, but even so, there is not generational relief for this activity.
