Testudinidae ABSTRACT Reports on the distribution of Testudo graeca ibera PALLAS, 1814 in the north-east Aegean and Dodecanese islands are scattered in a variety of publications. Synopsis of literature data and personal observations resulted in a distribution map which reveals the presence of T. graeca in several islands along the mainland shore of eastern Thrace and Asia Minor. KURZFASSUNG Verbreitungsangaben über Testudo graeca ibera PALLAS, 1814 von den Inseln der Nordostägäis und der Do- dekanes sind weit Ober die Literatur verstreut. Die auf Grundlage einer um eigene Beobachtungen ergänzten Zusam- menstellung der Literaturdaten gewonnene Verbreitungskarte zeigt, daß das Vorkommen der Schildkröte auf zahlrei- chen dieser Inseln nachgewiesen ist
