Cuora galbinifrons Pyxidea mouhotii Geoemyda spengleri Ocadia sinensis The following paper is one of a few that are going to be published in the CDC Newsletter in the future. It had been published originally in: "Die Aquarien und Terrarien Zeitschrift (DATZ)", Vol. 18, No. 3/4 March-April 1965, pp. 87-91 and 119- 121, has been translated into English by F.K. Chadwick, and edited by James R. Buskirk. Offprints should be obtained from James R. Buskirk, or the author's widow, Dr. Gisela Petzold, whose addresses are at the end of this article. We are most grateful to Dr. Gisela Petzold for permission to translate and reprint the articles that are presented in this series, and for permitting use of the original photographs.
