Negative immunohistochemical staining of the oral mucosa of a Trachyemys scripta elegans that was experimentally challenged with ranavirus and developed ranaviral disease, including necrosis and sloughing of the oral mucosa. Staining attempts were negative for all virus isolates within this host.
