Abstract     
Testudinidae This study investigates differences in biochemical parameters between two common venipuncture sites in Testudo spp. The main population consisted of 88 sexually mature tortoises kept under identical husbandry conditions, including Testudo horsefieldi, Testudo gracea, Testudo marginata, and Testudo hermanni.
