Abstract |
Testudinidae Geochelone carbonaria denticulata This study was conducted from 2009-2011, with 38 tortoises brought to the Veterinary Hospital at the Unesp Univ Estadual Paulista, Campus of Jaboticabal, Brazil. The objective was to relate the clinical disorders diagnosed in Chelonoides spp. with management conditions. The most affected systems were the skeletal (97.4%), digestive (63.2%), integumentary (39.5%) and reproductive (28.9%) systems, followed by the respiratory (5.3%), ophthalmic (2.6%) and nervous systems (2.6%).
