Testudinidae Examples of turtles (mainly Emys orbicularis and Testudo hermanni hermanni) reintroductions and introductions (Trachemys scripta elegans) in France are analysed. Legal aspects in France and others countries show a great diversity of situations. European Community reglements and international Conventions mentioned introduction and more rarely reintroduction but some gaps remained.
