Abstract
Trionyx sinensis Histopathological examination of farmed shelled turtles with non-parasitic hepatitis was carried out. The liver function was severely affected. Pathological changes in diseased turtles included fatty degeneration and leukocyte infiltration of the liver, watery degeneration, swelling and haematoma, hepatocyte death and ascites. Hepatic function changed from insufficiency to exhaustion. Treatment and control on non-parasitic hepatitis in turtles are discussed
