Abstract     
Abstract The record of the Mississippi map turtle,Graptemys pseudogeographica kohni, in Maryland's Patuxent River brings the total of introduced forms to six. It was found in water with a salinity of 5.3 ppt. Notable was the large barnacle,Balanus, attached to the rear of the carapace. Body measurements and comments regarding its salinity tolerance are presented.
