Abstract |
Trachemys scripta troosti Turtles were trained on a 2 ft. runway for food reward for 14 days, and then run without reward for 8 days. A group trained under 50% irregular reinforcement acquired the response as rapidly as a consistently reinforced group and extinguished at a significantly slower rate.
