Mauremys mutica is one kind of water turtles with higher economic value,and fits to propagate in small water-body such as soil pond,cement pond,etc.,and small volume such as water cylinder,basin and tank and so on.It is also a famous,special and high-quality fresh-water variety for developing courtyard and indoor culture.In the paper,the basic facilities and conditions for artificially propagating Mauremys mutica were introduced emphatically.A set of whole management technologies including the demands of the age,maturation degree,body weight and quality for parent turtle,and the sexual ratio and culture density of parent turtle,and the feeding,water quality and daily management,the special nurse in summer and winter and the control of diseases in the culture of parent turtles,the environment conditions of spawning ground,spawning media demands,spawning temperature and relative humidity and management and so on was also discribed.
