Abstract |
This experiment was designed to compare the growth performance of Chinemys reevesii with Mauremys mutica and Cuora Cistoclemmys flavomarginata juveniles. These experimental animals were raised with artificial food in stable cages indoors.Feeding experiments lasted 46 days. Results indicated that Mauremys mutica was the highest in the absolute weight gain and the special weight gain rate, Cistoclemmys flavomarginata was the second, and the third was Chinemys reevesii. The difference was significant. In the feed conversion ratio, Cistoclemmys flavomarginata was the highest, Chinemys reevesii was the second, and the lowest was Mauremys mutica. The difference was significant, too. In the juveniles stage, Mauremys mutica was clearly dominant only in the growth performance and feed conversion efficiency.
