Testudinidae Geochelone pardalis This study ascertains whether the mounlain tortoise Geochelone pardalis Bell , 1828, shows habitat preferences and territorial tendences. No territorialism was found but most activities took place within a certain range. Movement patterns of a number of individual tortoises are described.
