Testudinidae This report describes larval migrans as a cause of morbidity and mortality in eight tortoises of five different species from different facilities in the United States from 1998-2008. Tortoises included three flat tailed (Pyxis planicauda), two Asian brown (Manouria emys), one Greek (Tesudo graeca), one Sulawesi (Indotestudo forsteni) and one yellowfoot (Geochelone denticulata).
