Abstract |
Testudinidae This article describes the isolation and characterization of a Campylobacter-like isolate originating from the faeces of a sick leopard tortoise. Molecular as well as matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) characterization suggests that it could correspond to a new Campylobacter species.
