Abstract |
Population structure of Malaclemys terrapin terrapin in an unaltered creek in southern New Jersey was compared to data collected 12–13 years earlier. I found significantly lower average carapace size of terrapins and lower frequency of adult females compared to the earlier survey, and speculate that road mortality of nesting females may be responsible for these trends.
