Abstract |
Clemmys marmorata Field studies of the pond turtle revealed several types of aggressive interactions. There is a correlation between the level of aggression and the number of movements of turtles on and off basking sites. Agonistic behavior seems to promote spacing and settle disputes over preferred sites. Added by: Admin Last edited by: Beate Pfau |
