Abstract |
Mauremys iversoni mutica A new species of batagurine emydid turtle, Mauremys iversoni, based upon a series of 29 specimens from the Provinces of Fujian and Guizhou, People's Republic of China, is described. This species is most similar to Mauremys mutica, from which it differs in several morphological features and in coloration and pattern. Mauremys mutica and M. iversoni are reported to be sympatric near Nanping, Fujian. Added by: Sarina Wunderlich Last edited by: Beate Pfau |
