Abstract |
In this paper,the histological structure of 24 Sacalia quadriocellata female reproductive organs was observed on paraffin sections stained with HE in March(spring),August(summer),October(autumn)and January(winter).The results showed:seasonal changes happened in female reproductive system form and structure.In August,follicle began to develop and the weight of ovary and uterine gland increased.In October,the weight of ovary reached maximum,follicle was mature and began to ovulate,then yellow body of ovary formed,entering the ovulatory period.The next year,the weight of ovary eased from January to March,oviduct became larger,body of gland increased,muscular layer increased gradually,enter oviposition period.
